OurStory
Where memory becomes fragrance, and fragrance becomes legend.
Born from the
Soul of Delhi
In 2008, Tyra Kaur stepped into a sun-drenched attar market in Old Delhi and found her calling. Surrounded by amber vials, ancient oud chips, and the intoxicating breath of a thousand roses, she knew she would spend her life bottling this feeling.
Tyra Perfumes was born not in a laboratory, but in that moment of pure sensory surrender — a promise to capture the invisible threads between places, people, and memories.
A perfume is not worn — it is inhabited. It is the invisible architecture of who you are, and who you dare to become.
— Tyra Kaur, Founder & Master Perfumer
Scent as Sacred Art
We source only the rarest raw materials — Bulgarian rose absolutes, Cambodian oud, Himalayan cedarwood — treating each ingredient as a sacred text in the language of scent.
Every formula undergoes months of iteration, memory-testing, and stillness before it earns a bottle. The blend must evoke emotion first. Chemistry comes second.
We refuse synthetic shortcuts. When a harvest fails, we wait. When a supplier cannot meet our standards, we travel to find one who can. This is not stubbornness — it is devotion.
A Tyra fragrance is never rushed. It is coaxed, listened to, and ultimately revealed — the way all honest things are.
Moments That Shaped Us
The First Bottle
Tyra's debut fragrance, Ruh-e-Dehli, was blended by hand in a 200 sq ft studio in Lajpat Nagar. It sold out within three days.
The Paris Recognition
Awarded Best Niche Fragrance at the Esxence Milan Summit. The global fragrance world took notice of India's rising voice.
The Atelier Opens
Our first flagship atelier opened in Khan Market, New Delhi — a space of light, gold, and silence where customers design their signature scent.
The Silk Road Collection
Twelve fragrances tracing ancient trade routes from Samarkand to Mumbai — our most celebrated collection to date.
Sixteen Years of Scent
Over 400,000 bottles crafted. Present in 28 countries. Still blended by hand. Still guided by the same devotion.
The Artisans
The Cultivators
Our rose fields in Kannauj and jasmine gardens in Madurai are tended by families who have farmed petals for five generations. No synthetic shortcuts, ever.
The Nose
Tyra personally approves every formula — a process of months of iteration, memory-testing, and stillness. The blend must evoke emotion before it earns a bottle.
The Glassblowers
Each bottle is mouth-blown in Firozabad and hand-finished in gold leaf. No two bottles are identical — beauty lives in imperfection.
Step Through
the Door
Every bottle of Tyra is an open door. On the other side: a memory you have not yet made, a version of yourself you have not yet met.
